Bulk Metal Recycling
Loads designated by you as Metal Recycling at the time your dumpster service is ordered will be taken to a metal recycling facility. The facility will grade the load and any rebate will be passed along to you.
Eligible materials include: Copper, insulated wire, air conditioning units, brass, radiators, cores, alternators, starters, computers, electric motors and car motors, aluminum, condensers, cat converters, stainless steel, transmissions, batteries, steel, tin, iron (recycling), vehicles.
Prohibited are trash, lumber, brush, furniture, and all other hazardous items normally prohibited at the landfill. Loads rejected by the facility will incur a Rejected Materials Fee and be taken to the landfill and charged at your Regular Landfill Waste rate.
Clean Corrugated Cardboard
Loads designated by you as Clean Corrugated at the time your dumpster service is ordered will be taken to a corrugated recycling facility. Corrugated must be flattened, clean, dry, and free of oils and other contaminants.
The contents must be COMPLETELY FREE of trash. Loads rejected by the facility will incur a Rejected Materials Fee and be taken to the landfill and charged at your Regular Landfill Waste rate.
Clean Mixed Stream Recycling
Loads designated by you as Clean Mixed Recyclables at the time your dumpster service is ordered will be taken to a permitted recycling facility. Eligible contents include office paper, newspaper, card stock, cardboard, plastic bottles and containers, aluminum cans, tin containers, glass bottles, and jars. All items must be clean, dry, and free of oils and other contaminants. Plastic and glass containers must be no smaller than 8 fl oz.
The contents must be COMPLETELY FREE of trash. Loads rejected by the facility will incur a Rejected Materials fee and be taken to the landfill and charged at your Regular Landfill Waste rate.
